You are very welcome to St Patrick's Choral Society. With a
large membership of musical theatre enthusiasts, we present one
full-scale musical production each year, as well as a Spring
Concert. Our Youth Theatre also stage a show each year.

To keep our society going in future years we are depending on
the public to support us and join us. The one thing that links us
all, is the love of choral music and the live musical stage.

AGM Meeting
Will be held Tuesday 28th May at 7.30pm in Parish
Hall, Downpatrick.
It is very important that all members attend this meeting. New
Committee will be elected and any issues people wish to discuss can
be aired at this meeting.
Details on all events planned throughout the year will be
discussed.
SUMMER WORKSHOPS
After a successful
workshop last year we will once again be running workshops for
children aged 6 plus over 2 weeks commening Monday 12th August
. On Monday-Friday 10am-3pm daily. The workshops are held in
Parish Hall Downpatrick, behind Down Recorder Office.
Led by Musical Director Matthew Campbell.
Music from Hairspray, Wicked, Matilda, Anna and The Wizard Of
Oz.
The cost of workshops is £50 per child for the 2 weeks.
There is a family rate available.
2 children in same family £75.
3 children in same family £100.
The workshops will end with a musical showcase evening for
parents on Friday 23rd August.

Fashion Show with Nostalgia will be held on
Friday 13th September in The Mill at Ballyduggan.
Pub quiz will be held in October in Justines.
Aims Awards Weekend
Huge congratulations to the society on nominations for AIMS
awards weekend in Killarney.
Eugene Armstrong took home the trophy for best Male Voice
for his portrayal of Tevye in 'Fiddler on The Roof.'
Also many congratulations to to our two runners up:
Gary Warnock-Best Director for Fiddler on the Roof,
and Brian McElroy-Best Actor in a supprting Role for Bill Sykes
in Oliver.
Keohane Shield
Many congratulations to Monica Fitzsimmons for receiving the
Keohane Shield rewarded for her committment and dedication to the
Choral Society. Well deserved.
